Born and raised in the seas of Southern California,  Mermaid Kairi has been passionate about the mythology and magic of mermaids ever since she was a child.  After learning about the  mermaiding community in 2014,  Kairi dove headfirst into an incredible journey of self discovery and adventure.

Since her initial discovery of the craft, Kairi has both managed mermaid events, photoshoots, and performed for a myriad of special events across Southern California. She has been a very outspoken advocate for the protection and conservation of the waters in which she calls home, frequently making swims out to the seas of Catalina Island.  A place she has been frequently spotted by many a diver beneath the waves.

Her mission is help people rekindle the belief in finding magic midst of the mundane. as she puts it, mermaiding is a way to reconnect with your inner child, and return to a time in life when fairy tales and magic inspired the belief in the impossible.
